About the BBR Business Development Award
Black Business Recommendation are looking to invest in the black community.
Our first step is to invest £10,000 in a deserving black-owned business.
In a competition-like application, all applicants must complete an application form and upload a business plan detailing how £10,000 will make a difference to the business. An administrative fee of £20.00 will be required. The best application form and business plan will receive a £10,000 interest-free business development loan to improve the business. If a successful business requires support in marketing, improving stock, sales or business strategy.
Black Business Recommendation will help to get your business to the next level.
Why are BBR awarding one Business with £10,000?
Black Business Recommendation recognizes the difficulties faced by Black Business Owners with great potential but lacks the financial backing to develop their products and or services. Recognizing that this is a key area of need, Black Business Recommendation has placed our marker of intent to highlight and support excellence in our community. Our aim is to encourage investors to invest in the black business community to raise funds which can be redistributed back into the Black Business community, to become the catalyst for aspiration, belief, economic empowerment, and visibility to create true diversity in business.

The winner of the BBR Business Development Award will be decided at this prestigious event.
We will also recognize businesses that have achieved excellence in their sector over the year, plus celebrate with great food and live music from artists like Hil St Soul, Loose Ends, and Omar with entertainment from Geoff Schumann, and DJ Guvnor General. The compere on the night will be Calvin Francis.
